Inside the Houthi arsenal of small arms, land systems, missiles, naval systems, and drones
A 116-system network spanning land attack, maritime strikes, and aerial warfare
This report brings together the full known Houthi arsenal of small arms, land systems, missiles, naval systems, and drones into a single, accessible study for Basha Report subscribers. Covering the period from 2015 to 2026, it examines surface-to-surface missiles, anti-ship missiles, surface-to-air systems, drones, and more using U.S. military reporting, Israeli assessments, Houthi official media, Arabic language sources, technical analysis of Iranian linked weapons, and Basha Report’s decade long monitoring and reporting. It also looks at how these systems appear to have been built, whether through local production with Iranian support, assembly inside Yemen from smuggled parts, or direct transfer from Iran in more complete form.
Based on the current open source record, the Houthis have publicly revealed about 116 distinct named systems. This includes 25 surface to surface missiles, 13 anti-ship missiles, 10 surface-to-air missiles, 16 drones, 19 naval weapons, 30 small arms and mortars, and 3 land systems. This is the most complete open source count assembled so far in a single report.
Disclaimer: This report is a live document and will be updated as new Houthi systems are introduced
