The Final Warning
"Airports for Airports, Ports for Ports" Abdulmalik Al-Houthi Delivers Final Warning to Saudi Arabia
I have never seen Abdulmalik al-Houthi as visibly angry, fiery, and emotionally charged as he was in today’s speech. Throughout the address, he repeatedly raised his voice, spoke with unusual intensity, and delivered what appeared to be his strongest warning to Saudi Arabia since the truce and de-escalation process began. Unlike many of his recent speeches, which focused primarily on Gaza and the regional confrontation with Israel, almost the entire address centered on Saudi Arabia, the continued restrictions on Sana’a Airport, Yemen’s ports, and what he described as the ongoing blockade. By the end of the speech, it was clear he was portraying these issues as the decisive red line that could determine whether Yemen remains at peace or returns to full-scale war.
